HOW TO REACH THE FACULTY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
The Faculty of Science and Technology is not located in Bilbao but in Leioa, a nearby village  (see the location in this map).
 
There is a regular bus service managed by Bizkaibus company (yellow buses) linking Bilbao and the Campus of Leioa (UPV/EHU) with several routes such as 2318, 2324, 2312, 2314, being the University the last stop in all of them. For instance:
  1. •Bus number 2318 (labeled as “Termibus - UPV/EHU (por la autopista/tik)”):
  2. -Departing point: Termibus (the main bus station of Bilbao), beside San Mames underground stop.
  3. -Schedule: every 30 minutes from 7:00h to 18:00h. The way takes around 35 minutes time. Regarding the timetable for the way back from the University to Bilbao in this route, it is as well every 30 minutes from 10:00h to 21:00h.
  4. •Bus number 2314 (labeled as “Bilbao - Erandio Goikoa - UPV/EHU”):
  5. -Departing point: Hurtado Amezaga St, beside Abando underground stop.
  6. -Schedule: every 30 minutes from 7:15h to 18:15h. The way takes around 45 minutes time.
  7. •Bus number 2324 (labeled as “Bilbao - UPV/EHU (por Enekuri/tik)”):
  8. -Departing point: Hurtado Amezaga St, beside Abando underground stop.
  9. -Schedule: 7:35h   8:00h   8:25h   8:50h   14:00h The way takes around 30 minutes time. Regarding the timetable for the way back from the University to Bilbao in this route: 13:00  13:15  14:00  16:50  18:10  18:40  19:15  19:45

  11. ATTENTION! The main bus company linking Bilbao with the campus of Leioa has announced bus restrictions for 23, 25 and 27 of June. Amongst the available services you will find the following ones: Number 2314 from Bilbao at 7:45h, 8:15h and 9:15h Number 2318 from Bilbao at 7:30h and 9:30h

HOW TO REACH BILBAO
BY PLANE:
    - There are several airlines operating in Bilbao
    - How to reach the city centre from the airport: Bilbao Airport lies 12 kilometers away from the city.  There is a regular bus service, Bizkaibus (yellow buses), linking the airport with Termibus (the main bus station of Bilbao). The schedule is as follows:
        - Route from the Airport to Bilbao: every 30 minutes (from 06:15h to 24:00h)
        - Route from Bilbao to the Airport every 30 minutes (from 05:25h to 21:55h)
 
BY BUS:
    The main bus station, referred to as Termibus, is located beside the San Mames underground stop. There is a wide range of services linking many cities from Spain (such as Madrid, Vitoria, San Sebastian, Santander, Barcelona, etc.) as well as some from other countries. Here you are the timetables.
 
BY TRAIN:
    There are both long and short distance train services.

You might be interested in visiting nearby villages such as Mundaka, Bakio, Lekeitio, Getxo, Gernika,... or other cities such as San Sebastian.
